1. About This Guide

This guide is for embedded developers working with the NSING Technology N32G41x series of MCUs. It describes how to obtain the chip documentation and tools, how the SDK is organised, and how to use the peripheral driver APIs and example projects. Model names, versions and document titles are taken from the NSING Technology official website and from the files shipped with the SDK; peripheral registers and functional details follow the user manual.

1.1 Applicable Series and Models

The N32G41x series contains the two sub-families N32G412 and N32G415, both based on a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M4 core. The table lists the device models registered in the Keil support pack Nsingtech.N32G41x_DFP; the maximum clock frequency is taken from the official model pages.

Sub-family Maximum clock Models covered by the support pack
N32G412 80 MHz N32G412G8Q7
N32G412GBQ7
N32G412K8Q7
N32G412KBQ7
N32G412K8L7
N32G412KBL7
N32G412C8Q7
N32G412CBQ7
N32G412C8L7
N32G412CBL7
N32G412R8L7
N32G412RBL7
N32G415 96 MHz N32G415G8Q7
N32G415GBQ7
N32G415K8Q7
N32G415KBQ7
N32G415K8L7
N32G415KBL7
N32G415C8L7
N32G415CBL7
N32G415R8L7
N32G415RBL7

In this support pack, a device whose ninth character is 8 is registered as 64 KB Flash and 16 KB SRAM, and a device whose ninth character is B is registered as 128 KB Flash and 24 KB SRAM. The package, memory size and pin resources of each model follow the datasheet of the corresponding sub-family.

The SDK distinguishes the sub-families with a compile macro: a project must define exactly one of N32G412 or N32G415. If neither or both are defined, system_n32g41x.c raises a compile error. The models supported by each example are listed in the readme.txt file of that example directory.

1.2 SDK Version

This guide is based on the SDK Nsing.N32G41x_Library.1.1.0. The readme.txt file in the SDK root directory contains the version history.

Material Description
SDK: Nsing.N32G41x_Library Basis for the directory structure in Chapter 4 and the APIs and demos in Chapter 5
User manual Peripheral registers and functional descriptions;
the main source for notes and troubleshooting
N32G412 series errata sheet The errata list contains no specific entries
N32G415 series errata sheet The errata list contains no specific entries
Keil support pack Device models, Flash programming algorithms and SVD file

The versions of the “N32G412 series software development kit” and “N32G415 series software development kit” listed in the official download centre may differ from the SDK version this guide is based on. Check the version number when obtaining the SDK.

1.3 Scope

Chapter Content
Chapter 1 About This Guide Applicable models, SDK and document versions, where to obtain the materials
Chapter 2 Product and Kit Overview Core and peripheral overview, and the scale of the driver modules, public APIs and examples in the SDK
Chapter 3 Documentation and Tool Navigation Chip and development documents, evaluation boards, SDK and development support packages, official website entries
Chapter 4 SDK Directory Structure Top-level layout, firmware library, projects directory, composition of a single example and development aids
Chapter 5 Peripherals and Examples Related files, API reference, demo descriptions and notes and troubleshooting for each peripheral and function module

This guide does not replace the datasheet or the user manual: electrical parameters, register definitions and timing requirements follow the manual text.

1.4 Where to Obtain Materials

Chip documents, the SDK, development support packages and tools are all obtained from the NSING Technology official website:

Materials on the official website require a member account to download. The official materials are updated continuously; use the version listed on the official website when downloading.
